ABOUT PROJECT LUNA
Why I created this program
I wanted to provide professional women with unpredictable schedules, a workout program that will fit their lifestyle, schedule, and are specific to their daily roles. Programs to help prevent injury and prepare their mind and body for the unknowns they will face in life.
Project Luna is designed for women who are serious about their commitment to physical training and want to consistently prepare themselves for life's daily challenges. This program is designed for women who are excited about the journey to reach their goals and desire quality training. It is a dynamic max flex approach to programming for when life's challenges get in the way. If you're ready to put the work in then it's time to throw away the excuses and take some souls! It's not the goal, but the journey that counts. Amazing achievements aren't meant to come easy, this is what makes them that much more satisfying. Goals in my career have never come easy, I have always had to work hard and commit 100% to achieve my dreams.
Along the way I have failed countless times, however when I want something bad enough I never give up.
I understand all the challenges we are faced with - time, physical limitations, injuries, logistics, health, support or lack of support from family and friends. I have been through it all, which is why I'm here to tell you that you can achieve anything you want bad enough.
I work shift work, bouncing around from days to nights, and emergency call outs at all hours. I struggled at first finding my rhythm to fit in quality workouts consistently. It has taken over 12 years and I have finally become happy with the quality of my training sessions - of course I always strive for more!
I see professional women everyday with unpredictable schedules trying to balance life, work, and physical fitness. I wanted to share what I have learned so others can benefit and reach their goals.
I work in law enforcement and have been through numerous selection processes for specialty teams. They are not only physically demanding but mentally exhausting. I had to go through one selection process 3 times due to failure on a qualification standard, and then injury the next year. I know that if I wasn't as strong mentally and physically, I would have given up.
I have a BA in Communication Studies and a Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion. Before getting into law enforcement I worked in numerous training facilities and worked with a variety of clients. During that time I also competed in a couple of Fitness competitions.
